Robert Laramie

ROBERT B. LARAMIE, 82, of Bellaire, died on March 11, 2010 at Munson Medical Center. Robert was born on May 17, 1927 in Detroit. Robert was a resident of Bellaire for the past 23 years. He was known as a "people person" who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a crane operator for many years and was instrumental in building various bridges in the state of Michigan. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. On July 16, 1977 he married Joan Lenor Dane who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Laura Laramie of North Carolina, Kim (Gary) Cunningham of Novi, Todd Richards of Livonia, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
