Robert Hubbard

Robert L. Hubbard, 90, of Mancelona passed away June 30, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Robert was born June 30, 1922 in Alba, Michigan, the parents of Robert and Anna Hubbard. Robert was born and raised in Alba. He proudly served his country while serving in the Army. He worked for General Motors throughout his career. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Ilene Hubbard; two children, James Hubbard of Tampa, FL., and Vicki Hubbard of Lansing; four step-children, Patricia (Tom) Graham of Lansing, William (Lola) Stradinger of Lapeer, George (Debbie) Stradinger of Columbiaville, and William Fraley of Midalnd; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia in 1999, parents, and several siblings, Eloise Olds, Marji Hubbard, Chub Hubbard, Carl Hubbard, Guy Hubbard, Howard Hubbard, Barny Hubbard, Theo Farrell, Floyd Hubbard, Warren Hubbard and Evelyn Brown. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 12:00 noon at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
