Robert Barraw

Robert D. Barraw Jr., 53 of Central Lake, died July 14, 2012 at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born Oct. 27, 1958 in Bellaire, the son of Robert D. Sr. and Wanda (Sutton) Barraw. Bob was a lifelong resident of Antrim County. He loved farming, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was a hard worker and loved life. Bob was a man that everyone knew by his baby blue eyes. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a great husband, dad. He was also fond of his pets, especially Bo. On May 22, 1981 in Bellaire he married the love of his life, Ramona Litwaitis who survives. He is also survived by his children Wes (Katie) Barraw, Julie (Craig) Altergott, Shelly (Justin) Whisler, grandchildren Justin Jr., Landen, Abigael, Colin, Darek, Kalen, his mother Wanda, brother Jim (LaRay) Barraw, sister Louise (Jerry) Klooster, sister in law's Cathy (Ken) Kruse, Lori Litwaitis and mother in law Joyce Blair. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sr. and sister Barbara Howard. A celebration of life will take place Thurs. July 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Central Lake VFW.
