Richard Allan Alexander

Richard A Alexander, 62, of Mancelona met his creator Friday June 16th 2023.  He was the youngest of seven children.  Rick had many jobs throughout the years.  He was a jack of all trades and very hard working.  He was quick witted and always up for a good joke, especially from his grandchildren.  Rick thought deeply, listened intently and always a defender of the underdog.  In his free time Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting, history, reading, and Nascar.  

Rick is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie Alexander; two children, Michael (Eva) Alexander, Katie (Jonathan) Hoshor; four grandchildren, Jackson, Oliver, Laney, and Mateo; Sister Mary Scholl; Brothers, Art Alexander and David Alexander.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Idabel Alexander; Sisters Linda Thomas and Shirley Lucas; brother Wilfred Alexander.

Celebration of life will be held at Pathway Community Church in Mancelona Friday June 23rd at 3:00pm.  All are welcome to join the family at his home (7942 S M-66 Highway Mancelona) for a celebration bbq meal immediately following the service.
