Rhonda Allen

Rhonda J. Allen,  54, of Mancelona, passed away on January 20, 2021 at her home.

She was born on March 18, 1966, in Kalkaska, the daughter of Dennis Windish and Carolyn Short.

Rhonda was employed since 1984 as a welder in the Mancelona area.   She was very talented and enjoyed sharing her skills with many others through the years.

She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling to the Soo Locks in the Upper Peninsula.   But her greatest love was spending time with her family and many friends.

On August 18, 2018, in Mancelona, she married Richard P. Allen who survives.   Also surviving are 4 children, Jennifer (Clayton) Verstrat of OK, Randy (Amanda) Verstrat of Mancelona, Dustin (Hailey) Allen of Mancelona, Logan Allen of Mancelona, her mother Carolyn (John) Sehl of Mancelona, step-mother Darlene Windish of Central Lake, 4 grandchildren, Joshua Craft, Rowan Vandaveer, Kolton and Raeghan Verstrat, and a 5th one on the way Jaxon Allen, 2 brothers, Bryan Sehl of Mancelona, Clifford (Cindy) Sehl of GA, 2 sisters, Jenna and Melissa Sehl both of Mancelona and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Windish and uncle Dennis Short.

No services will be held.
