Rachel Washburn

Rachel Verna-Lynn Washburn, 38 of Bellaire, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011. She is survived by her Husband Dennis; two daughters Mariah (18) and Miranda (16) and her parents Vernon and Roberta Swafford, a sister Christal and brothers Vern, Matt and Mike. She also loved her nieces Nicole, Phoenix, Kaitlyn and McKenzie. Rachel was a dedicated head start teacher in Mancelona. Being a teacher was a great love, she enjoyed the honor of teaching children and cared deeply of there welfare and education. She was a devoted mother with both a stern hand and a loving touch. She enjoyed scrap booking, gardening, camping, hiking and everything else that she could do with her Family. Rachel and her husband Dennis have been together for Twenty-two years. She was his teacher, his Preacher, his warden, his lover and his best friend. She deeply loved her Mother and Father and all her siblings. She touched the hearts of all her friends and felt touched in return. She is and always will be dearly loved and deeply missed. Services will be private.
