Phyllis Meeder

Phyllis Y. (Martin) Meeder, 77, of Mancelona, passed away January 15, 2013 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. She was born June 2, 1935 in Mancelona; the daughter of William and Ethel Martin. Phyllis graduated from Mancelona High School. She worked as a beautician for many years in the St. Johns area. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by three loving children, Terry Meeder of Alden, Susan Meeder of Lansing and Paul (Manuela) Meeder of Cocoa, FL; three grandchildren, Whitney and Chelsey Meeder and Travis Adle; one great-grandson, Hayden McConnell; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and many sisters. Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Todd Shafer officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday. Interment will be in the spring.
