Phyllis Allison

Phyllis Allison passed away at her home at American House in Charlevoix on September 24, 2022.  She was born on April 19, 1921 in Charlevoix to Geneva and Charles Stevens of Phelps.

She attended Phelps School and graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1940.  She married Warren Allison on November 27, 1942; had twins, Gail Baldridge and Chip Allison; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved solving crossword puzzles, making quilts, and camping with Warren and friends.  She worked as a Bell Telephone operator and later as a receptionist for a local doctor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren; sister, Josephine; brothers, Bruce, Byard, Don, and Claire.  She is survived by Joan and William.

A private service will be held October 8, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
