Peggy Karcher

Peggy Marie Karcher, 85, of Bellaire, passed away on August 7, 2024. She was born on July 3, 1939, in Detroit, the daughter of Berthold and Gladys (Kunkosky) Richardson.

In her younger days, Peggy went to Immaculata high school near Detroit. Upon graduation, she would go on to attend the University of Detroit, where she completed a Bachelors Degree in education. While in college, she met Tom, and they would go on to be married for many years and have two children together. She took pride in teaching as her first career, and after raising her family, she went back to college and achieved an additional Associates Degree in computer programming. For the rest of her working days, she worked as a computer programmer. Her family was everything to her and she loved spending time with her grandkids. Peggy had a love for music and expressed her love through playing the guitar and the piano. Peggy’s Catholic faith was a huge priority to her, and she never missed a Sunday, while she was well and able.
