Peggy Coucke

Peggy J. Coucke, 75, of Bellaire, passed away on March 3, 2013 at Munson Medical Center. Peggy was born on May 24, 1937, in Detroit, the daughter of John Terry and Clementine (DeMeyer). Peggy was a Bellaire resident since 1986 and was a long time member of St. Luke Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Third Order of St. Dominic. She enjoyed doing family geneology and was a faithful and active member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire. On February 8, 1964, she married Richard J. Coucke who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, Ronald (Nancy) Coucke, Aimee (Vasilios) Minitsios, Todd Coucke and Kyle (Lisa) Coucke. In addition to her children, she is survived by 6 grandchildren, Michiel, Joshua, Ryan, Kyle Jr., Hailey and Angellee Coucke, 2 step-grandchildren, Brittany Coucke, and Bradley Harvey, 2 brothers, Edwin (Darice) Bjorkvist and Gregory (Carol) Terry. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Bonita DeWorken. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 7, 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire. Fr. James Gardiner will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in the spring.
