Payton Dennis

Payton Michael Dennis, "Payton Pie" our #Paytonstrong super hero, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 26, 2017 surrounded in bed with all his loved ones. He went to be with his God in Heaven as his papa Rick anxiously waited with open arms welcoming him. Born August 23, 2009, in Gaylord, the son of Jason and Jessica (VanBrande) Dennis, Payton happily came into this world joining his siblings Wesley, Jordan, and Maddison. He attended Bellaire Elementary school and was in the first grade. Payton had a selfless, giving heart, and a deep love for everyone he met. He never knew a stranger only friends he met for the first time. Payton enjoyed lego's, swimming, camping, and playing baseball. He also enjoyed watching Avenger movies, crystals, and his ring collection, giving them to those he loved the most. Left to cherish his memory are his parents and siblings all of Bellaire. Also surviving are his grandparents Angie (Steve Bacon) VanBrande of Central Lake, Barb (Ray) Harkabusic of Bellaire, great grandma Shirley Grody, great grandma Lois Hilgendorf, great grandparents Marvin and Sandy VanBrande, aunts and uncles Lori Bearss, Steven (Shelley) Dennis, Brianna (John Mulligan) Richmond, Cameron Wilson, Alexis and Alivia Bacon, Steven Bacon, Nichole Bacon, many cousins, a large extended family, and his beloved puppy Paisley. He was preceded in death by his papa Richard Dennis, papa John Holder, Great Grandpa Howard Grody, and great grandma Murl Dowling. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 6, at 5:30 p.m. at the Bellaire High School gymnasium.
