Pauline Johnson

Pauline Johnson, 84 of Mancelona passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. She was born July 14, 1929 in Oil City, MI to Frank and Lulu (Murry) Rosa. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, watching birds and the Detroit Tigers. On December 12, 1947 she married Harold Johnson who preceded her in death on June 13, 2009. She is survived by her children, Vickie (Jerry) Allen, Suzie (Leo) Vipond, Rick (Norma) Johnson, Jan (Carter) Dollaway, Mike (Nan) Johnson, Terry (Jesse) Johnson, Patty (Kev) Derror; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 1 brother, Ken (Eunice) Rosa of Kalkaska; 3 nephews and 4 nieces. A memorial service will be Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Mark McCool officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at Jerry and Vickie Allen's home, 8266 Johnson Road, Mancelona. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
