Paul Sidney Spencley, 36, of Charlevoix passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at his home on December 4th. Paul was born in Petoskey, Michigan and moved to Charlevoix in 1987, with his sister, Shandra, in an already filled household of Gary and Sharlene Spencley. Paul loved the outdoors, hiking, walking and photography. He also loved to travel so it was very common for him to purchase bus tickets to places he wanted to see and travel throughout the United States. His favorite place to visit was Beaver Island.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Sharlene Spencley of Charlevoix; brothers and sisters, Scott (Shannon) Spencley, Melanie (Nancy) Spencley, Dean (Patti) Spencley, Lynn McReynolds, Jamey Spencley. Darsi (Mitts) Lee, Shandra (John) Spencley, Laura (Andrew) Bell, Angelina Vasher and all extended family throughout.
He is also survived by his birth mother, Linda Martinez and grand parents, Mike and Lucelly Williams.
Paul's celebration of life will be on Thursday, December 8th at 11:00am at the Freedom House Ministries in Charlevoix (6429 M 66 N.) with a luncheon to follow.
