Paul Collins

Paul Lee Collins Sr., 68 of Central Lake, died Mon. Aug. 10, 2015 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. He was born Nov. 20, 1946 in Petoskey, the son of Freddie Lee and Ruby Mae (Morrison) Collins. Paul worked as a tool and dye operator for many years at Super Tool and A & C Grinding and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4046 in Indian River. Paul enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, and spending time with his cat Mack Mack. Surviving Paul is his mother Ruby Collins of Mancelona, his children Paul (Tammy) Collins of Indian River, Ben (Suzie) Collins of Central Lake, Joe Collins (fiancAC. Julie Goddard), sister Nancy Eames of Mancelona, brothers Allen (Carol) Collins of Bay City, Larry (Ila) Collins of St. Louis, Jeff (Sandy) Collins of Semi Valley, CA, grandchildren Rachel, Eli, Hannah, Ashley, Jacob, Zeb, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Collins, his nephew PJ Pearson, and his grandson Seth Boss. A Celebration of Life will be held Sun. Aug. 16, at 2pm at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time of service.
