Patsy Marshall

Patsy Grace Marshall, 76, of Bellaire, died peacefully Saturday evening, June 11, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 21, 1934, in Ferndale, the daughter of Remos and Marian (Passingham) Robinson. Patsy was Director of Nursing and Assistant Administrator at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility for 46 years. Her dedication and devotion to the patients and people there was admired by all who knew her. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years as well as an active team leader and participant in the Antrim County Relay for Life. Patsy enjoyed line dancing, crafting flowers, taking lighthouse trips and the fish in her pond. She loved to spend time with her family, her children and grandchildren. On Sept. 24, 1955, in Bellaire, she married Frank Marshall who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son Wayne, grandson Travis, and 2 brothers Dennis and Jackie Robinson. She is survived by her children Tony (Cheryl) Marshall and Rod (Stacy) Marshall all of Bellaire, 2 sisters Donna (Lionel) Moran and Sally Ann Corner all of Bellaire, 5 brothers Danney (Alice) Robinson of Bellaire, Donnie (Pat) Robinson of Tyler, TX, Rickie Jim (Susan) Robinson of Jackson, TN, Ronnie Frank (Leah) Robinson of Kewadin, Michael (Sherri) Robinson of Bellaire, 4 grandchildren Debra (Jacob) Borges, Amy (Tyler) Dollaway, Christina and Amber Marshall, great grandson Cole Borges. Funeral services will be held Tues. June 14, at Eleven a.m. at the Bellaire Wesleyan Church with Pastor Steve Eccles officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire. The family will receive friends Mon. June 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Memorials may be directed to the family.
