Patrick S. Corbett, 42, of Central Lake, formerly of Fairfax County, Virginia, passed away on August 18, 2015 at his home. Patrick was born on March 7, 1973, in Fairfax, VA, the son of Christopher Corbett and Deborah Phillips. Patrick grew up in Virginia and Florida prior to moving to Central Lake 3 years ago. Patrick was employed as Operations Manager for CTSI for over 25 years. He was an avid Washington Redskins football fan, University of Kentucky Basketball fan and he loved music of all kinds, golfing, fishing, playing softball and had a special love for animals. He is survived by 3 children, Zachary Lonze of Germany, Tristan Alec and Sydney Brooke Corbett both of Manassas, VA, his father Chris (Merrie) Corbett of Central Lake, his mother Deborah (Rick) Mann of Florida, his fiance Venessa Van Horn of Central Lake, a brother Christopher Scott (Michelle) Corbett of Stafford, VA, and a half-brother Ryan Mann of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. also at the funeral home. A luncheon will be held following the funeral service at The Pelican Inn. Interment will be in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial contributions be made to, With a Little Help From My Friends, (WALHFMF) 3820 Ritt Rd., Bellaire, MI, 49615.
