Patricia Watkins

Patricia Watkins, 74, of Mancelona, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. Patricia was born on November 9, 1937 in Mancelona, the daughter of Paul and Beatice (Brewer) Schepperly. She was a Mancelona resident her entire life and lived in the same house on Calhoun Street for 74 years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Hall, going to the casino and shopping. Most of all her pride and joy was her family. Patricia is survived by her children Karen (Larry) Dwater of Fife Lake, Rick (Nancy) Watkins, Ron Watkins, and Kelly (Randy) Sexton all of Mancelona; grandchildren Jimmie, Robin, Shannon, Kristi, Samantha and Deiga; eight great-grandchildren; brother Roger Schepperly; and a special friend Walter Wilson both of Mancelona. She is now reunited with her loved ones that passed away in earlier years, husband Dale Watkins, parents, two beloved grandchildren Eric Watkins and Ashley Sexton; two sisters and two brothers. A Celebration of Patricia's life will take place on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
