Patricia Puroll

Patricia M. Puroll, 59, of Elmira, passed away on March 21, 2015 at her home. Patty was born on October 16, 1955 in Petoskey, the daughter of Alfred and Marion (Krussell) Cowan. Patty was a longtime resident of Elmira and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing with her husband Florian. Patty is survived by her mother Marion Cowan of Petoskey, 2 brothers, Alfred John (Kathleen) Cowan of Petoskey, Michael Cowan of Petoskey, 2 sisters, Marion "Lucy" (Tom) Eppler of Petoskey, Sue (Michael) Jakeway of Petoskey as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Alfred Cowan. A Funeral Mass for her and her husband Florian will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elmira with Fr. Peter Wigton as celebrant. Visitation will be from noon until the time of Mass. Interment will take place in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery following Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diocese of Gaylord Seminarian Fund. Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
