Patricia Mitchell

Patricia I. Mitchell,  78, of Central Lake, passed away on June 11, 2021 at her home.

Pat was born on November 23 ,1942, in St. Johns, MI, the daughter of Samuel and Omah (Webster) Green.

Her and Dale owned property in Central Lake since 1976,  then upon retirement in 1991 made this their permanent home.

She was an avid Detroit Tiger Baseball fan and loved doing arts and crafts.   She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, fishing, birdwatching and going on pontoon rides on Intermediate Lake.

On March 6, 1965, in Lansing, MI, she married Dale E. Mitchell who survives.  Also surviving are 5 children, Stephen Mitchell of Coldwater, MI, Susan (Jim) Brown of St. Johns, MI, Dalietta (Dennis) Novello of Charlotte, MI, Dale (Fiance Donna Sheldon) MItchell of Central Lake, Patrick (Sheila) Mitchell of DeWitt, MI, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister Marie Verellen and her parents.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the beginning of services  Pastor Gary Bekkering will officiate.

Burial will follow in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township.
