Patricia Jemkort

PATRICIA J. JEMKORT, 69, of Central Lake, died on December 21, 2010 at Charlevoix Area Hospital. Patricia was born on January 30, 1941 in Petoskey, the daughter of Cornelius and Mary (Kahgee) Smith. Patricia was a Central Lake resident for the past 10 years, was a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, and enjoyed gardening, cooking and fishing. On March 16, 1987 in Detroit, she married Richard Jemkort who survives. Also surviving are 3 brothers, Gary Smith of Thompson, IL., Ronnie Smith of Detroit, and Michael Smith of Harbor Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents and an uncle Bruce Kahgee. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
