PATRICIA ANN HAMMONS 48, of Mancelona, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse. Patricia was born August 21, 1958 in Detroit, the daughter of Benjamin and Clara (Bean) Johnson. She resided in Mancelona since 1989 moving from Detroit. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Gaylord. On August 28, 1976 in Detroit, she married Jack M. Hammons who survives. Also surviving are three children, Gary D. Johnson of Kingsley, Michael D. Hammons of Kincheloe, Jacklyn (Barney) Barber of Alden, two brothers Roger (Loretta) Johnson of Detroit, Gary (Christine) Melton of Florida, ten grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Tina Marie Hammons. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, 2007 at Three p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, Pastor Robert Perrotti officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
