Patricia Cuadros

Patricia Arlene Cuadros, 83, of Alden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 8, 1941, in San Pablo, CA, the daughter of John and Lola (Austin) Parks.

Patricia was born and raised in Northern California. She worked for many years as a book binder at the University of California, Berkeley. She retired early to take care of her parents and built a house in Alden in 1991. After retiring she took in and adopted four boys and a girl. She was the most amazing mother and had the biggest heart. She also worked at the Alden Library. Her love for her family was limitless and unconditional. She was a very noble woman, kind, compassionate, supportive. She definitely lived up to her name Patricia which means noble woman.

She loved traveling and going on cruise ships. Her favorite genre of music was the oldies but goodies like Anthony and the Imperials, Chuck Berry, and Motown records. She loved spending time outdoors and feeding the wildlife, and she loved her cats.

Patricia is survived by her five children, William Cuadros, Sean Cuadros, Kevin Cuadros, Devin Cuadros, and Kayla Cuadros; her brother, James (Virginia) Parks; 13 grandchildren with another on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Cuadros; her parents; two brothers, Robert Parks and Richard Parks; and her sister, Shirley Ramirez.

A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00.
