Otto McGrath

OTTO I. McGRATH 76, of Mancelona, died on April 3, 2007 at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City. Otto was born on September 16, 1930 in Onaway, the son of Otto and Edith (Dunn) McGrath. Otto was a Mancelona resident for the past 32 years. He was employed at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire and also worked in the trucking industry for many years. On April 7, 1950 he married Helen M. Bryson who survives. Also surviving are two children, June (Brian Manley) McGrath of Mancelona, Alan (Debra) McGrath of Taylor, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three brothers, Jerry McGrath, and Leonard McGrath both of Taylor, Robert McGrath of Texas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger, Kenneth, and Donald a sister Janice Cole and his parents. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
