OSCAR K. (SMOKE) ROBBINS 76, passed away, Monday, May 14, 2007 in Bellaire. He was born in Antrim, Michigan on June 1, 1930 the son of William and Sarah (Bartholomew) Robbins. Smoke served in the U.S. Army from 1951 until he was honorably discharged in 1953. A long time resident of Millington, MI he retired from Buick Motor Division in 1995 after 42 years of service. He is survived by his three children; Joseph Robbins of Millington, Sheila (Thomas) DuLude of Lansing, Tami Paul (Jim Brueggemann) of Republic, grandson Jared Paul of Davison, three brothers and three sisters; David (Mary Belle) Robbins, Joseph (Susie) Robbins, Donald (Dorothy) Robbins, Ila (Junior) Cantrell, Mary (Gary) Cantrell all of Mancelona and Irene Fair of Newberry, two sisters in law Noreen Montgomery and Gloria Robbins of Mancelona and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Otis, Coley, Raymond and John. Visitation will be held at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, Wednesday, May 16, from 1 to 6 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 3 p.m. at the Antrim Church of Christ in Mancelona. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Antrim Church of Christ.
