Norma Merriman

Norma B. Merriman, 92, formerly of Pontiac, MI, passed away at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire, MI, on December 31, 2013. Norma was born on May 15, 1921, in Toronto, Ontario and was a World War II veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force. She married the late Willis Merriman in 1945 and became a U.S. citizen. Norma was a retired Oakland County Circuit Court Judicial Secretary. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Willis, and her son, William. Norma is survived by her son Raymond of Farmington Hills, MI, daughter Joan Merriman Tewes of Mancelona, MI; daughters-in-law Debra and Rosanne; seven grandchildren: Aimee Nolan, Sean Merriman, Alexandra Merriman, Jeremy Carranza, Jarrod Merriman, Jordan Merriman and Janelle Merriman; and four great grandchildren: Sara, Caitlin, Chloie and Gianna. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. The Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes is handling the arrangements.
