Norma Hilliker

Norma Jeanne Hilliker, 72, of Elmira, passed away on February 5, 2022 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  She was born on March 27, 1949, in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Omer Everett and Edna Bland.

Norma has been a resident of northern Michigan for many years.  She raised her family in East Jordan, and then drove truck for over 10 years once they were grown up.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren any chance she got, especially spoiling them on their birthdays.  She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, crocheting, and helping others.  She has also attended the Harvest Barn Church in East Jordan for several years.

Norma is survived by her children, Mike Hosler of Mancelona, Destiny (Odoro) Francis of Mackinac Island, and Miriah (Terry) Kauska of Atwood; two brothers, James Irving McPherson and Scott Lewis McPherson; two sisters, Jackie Sue Hosler and Marcella McPherson; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Bonnie Anne Hosler and Gail Leah Everett; and her brothers, Eldon Earl Everett, David Ray Everett, Robert Benjamin McPherson, Ronald Lewis McPherson, and Lewis McPherson.
