Norma Anderson

Norma Jean Anderson , 84, of Mancelona, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home with her children at her side.  She was born on June 23, 1936 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of George and Rose (Petix) Schmitt.

Norma loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed golfing, cooking, and playing bridge.  She was immensely proud of the work she did as a sales rep for Pella Windows for over 25 years.

She is survived by her five children, Kim (Greg) Riggs of Cave Creek, AZ, Carl Angott (Tom Ball) of Detroit, MI, Kyle (Mark) Navarre of Commerce, MI, Tim (Wendy) Angott of Redford, MI, and Eric (Maria) Angott of Livonia, MI; her step-son, Devon Anderson; two brothers George (Alma) Schmitt, and Harold (Betty) Schmitt; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted Anderson; and her sister, Donna Crimmens.

A memorial service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Mancelona in the Summer of 2021.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.`
