Nora Miller

Nora Ann Miller, 68, of Charlevoix, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015, at her home. She was born January 16, 1947, in Lansing, to Clare Maxwell and Margaret Jo (Owen) Lott. Nora moved to Charlevoix in 1976. Nora worked for Headstart in Charlevoix as a teacher's aid; but, most important to her was being a mother and grandmother, and taking care of her family. She was a member of Saint Mary's Church.

She is survived by her children, David (Becky) Miller of Byron Center, Scott (Andrea) Miller of Columbus, Oh., Matthew “Buzz” (Cris) Miller of East Jordan, Josh Miller of Charlevoix, Karianne (Mike Kniat) of Charlevoix, Jenny (Chad) Lake of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Kylee, Brady, Matthew, Jacob, Luke, Steven, Adam, Adrianne, Lily, Michelle, Maria, David, Kadance, Hanna, Carson, Skylar, Liam, Logan, Noah, Brynley; mother, Margaret Jo Lott; brothers and sisters, Maryjo (Ron) Kinne of Dewitt, Susie (Dick) LaFave of Newfoundland, Pa., Chuck (Berta) Lott of Lansing, Katy (Robert) Rios of Lansing, Jim (Cindy) Lott of Fort Myers, Fla., Jon Lott of Bradenton Beach, Fla., Joe (April) Lott of Clearwater, Fla., Kevin (Patty) Lott of Lansing. Nora was preceded in death by her son, Steven Paul; granddaughter, Molly Elizabeth; brother, Mike; sisters, Janee and Peggy; and father, Clare.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, December 28, 2015, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix. Funeral mass will be 11 am, Tuesday, December 29, at Saint Mary's Church in Charlevoix where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will take place at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Charlevoix. The Reverend John Paul Bashe will officiate.
