Noline M. Deveneau, 43, of Mancelona, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on August 30, 2015 at her home. Noline was born on June 29, 1972, in Traverse City, the daughter of Nolan Morgan and Sharon Shurter. Noline was employed by Shanty Creek Resorts for several years and was a member of the Mancelona Moose Lodge. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and she enjoyed kayaking, dancing and country music. She is survived by 3 children, Jaline Taylor of Mancelona, Timmy Taylor of Mancelona, Victoria (Josh) Derror of Mancelona, her mother Sharon Fredenburg and step-father Joseph Fredenburg of Mancelona, 5 sisters, Dawn Marie (Mike) Murphy of Mancelona, Connie (Bill) Swartz of PA, Laurel Lynn (Tim) Wilks of Mancelona, Rena Hayes of Kentwood, Sherrill Zuiderveen of Grandville, two step-brothers, Stanley Lewicki of Marshall , Chuck Toczydlowski of Grand Rapids, two aunts, Vera Nickerson of Kingsley, Pat Morgan of MO, an uncle Ronald (Nancy) Shurter of PA, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Nolan Morgan, Uncle Duwayne Morgan as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 3-8 p.m. at the Custer Township Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
