Ninalu Darby

Ninalu A. Darby, 56, of Mancelona, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by her family. Ninalu was known as one of the hardest working women that many people knew. She committed her life to caring and supporting her three children. For the people that knew Nina, she will always be remembered for her warm smile, her free spirit and her undying dedication to always finding the good in people. She will always hold a special place in any heart that she has ever touched and she will be missed greatly by all who knew her. She is survived by three loving children, David Darby of Mancelona, James Darby of Mancelona and Nicole Darby of Traverse City; three siblings, Joanne Short of Mancelona, Sharon Musall of Mancelona and James Nichols of East Jordan; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Home.
