Nevada Harvey

Nevada Dave Harvey, the “ Hucka Mucka Man”, 75, joined many loved ones in Heaven November 2nd, 2020,  while surrounded by his family. Despite fighting Alzheimers, Nevada cherished life until the end.

Born in San Jose, California, He was a “traveler” from birth. Nevada visited each of the continental United States. Growing up surrounded by other traveling family members, he valued family above all and learned many different trades from them. He married the love of his life, Doris Ellen Burrell, in 1962. They had 3 children who went on to make him the head of a large family.

Being with family and friends while enjoying “Hank, Willie, Johnny, George, and Mearl” was his favorite thing to do. His other passion was making money. Whether selling trailers, cleaning septics, cutting trees, or laying and sealing asphalt, he was up and ready to roll. During slow times, knocking door to door, doing whatever was needed to take care of his family. He also truly enjoyed playing poker, drinking red fish and blue fish (aka beer), gambling, fishing, and most of all being “on the road again”.
