Nancy Flood

Nancy Sue Flood, 79 of Ellsworth died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at her home.
She was born December 24, 1934 in Rising Sun, Indiana the daughter of John and Ida Mae (Baxter) Ludwig.
On April 4, 1959 she married Joseph D. Flood Jr. in Cincinnati, OH where they made their home. They moved to Banks Township in 1969.
Mrs. Flood was a registered nurse and was Director of Nursing at Charlevoix Area Hospital for many years and later was employed by the Health Department of Northwest Michigan for 16 years.
Nancy loved her dogs, collecting dolls and was an expert seamstress.
Surviving are her husband, children Joseph D. "J.D." (Kim) Flood of Iron River and Suzanne (John) Jeffrey of Orlando, FL, 7 grandchildren and brother John (T.J.) Ludwig of Westerville, OH.
She was preceded by her sister Julia Ann Ludwig.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth with Pastor George Dronen officiating.
Friends may call at the Hastings Funeral Home Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00.
Burial will be in Atwood Cemetery, Banks Twp., MI.
