Nancy Dixon

Nancy A. Dixon, 76, of Charlevoix, passed away on March 28, 2017 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. She was born on March 17, 1941 in Quincy, MA, the daughter of John and Lillian (Gossilen) O’Brien. Nancy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Charlevoix Area Zonta Club, American legion in Charlevoix. She worked for many years at Charlevoix Abstract and Engineering for many years and she enjoyed spending her free time gardening and decorating. On January 23, 1960 Nancy married Raymond Dixon in Quincy, MA who survives. She is also survived by her children, Curtis Dixon, Gregg (Glenda) Dixon, Karen (Steven) Johnson, Ed Sarasin, Daniel Dixon all of Charlevoix; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Russ O’Brien and Jackie O’Brien. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Charlevoix with Rev. Peter Wigton officiating. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of services as well as on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a rosary service being held at 7:30 pm all at Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Charlevoix. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hiland Cottage in Petoskey.
