MYRTLE L. LANGHAM, 84, of Mancelona, died on June 17, 2010 at Grand Traverse Pavilions-Cottages. Myrtle was born on March 31, 1926, in Tiffin, OH., the daughter of Albert and Ellen (Lescolette) Smith. Myrtle was a long time foster parent and enjoyed reading, knitting, crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by 3 children, Charlene (Willie) Cooper of Mancelona, Edward Langham of Saginaw, Matthew (June) Langham of Poulsbo, WA., 5 grandchildren, Jason, Devin, Alfonso, Nestorio, Jay-Ar, 5 great-grandchildren, Kendra, Mia, Nestorio, Quianah, Alfonso, 3 sisters, Merle Truver of Lake Jackson, TX., Arlene Krause of Buffalo Center, IA., and Betty Lou Wescott of Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Max Langham her parents, and two brothers, Buzz and Bill Smith. Memorial services will take place on Wed., June 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
