Myra (Hall) Crawford, 79, of Jordan Township, passed away on April 7, 2023 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
She was born on January 11, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, MI, the daughter of J. Carlton and Elizabeth (Moon) Hall.
In 1962, she graduated from Mancelona High School and on December 1, 1962 she married Kenneth Basil Crawford.
Myra and Ken spent 52 years together and raised their family in East Jordan and Jordan Township. She was preceded in death by Kenneth in 2014.
Myra was a Licensed Insurance Agent in Antrim and Kalkaska Counties for over 35 years and met the nicest people in the world.
Besides her husband Kenneth, she was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving a son Todd Basil Crawford of East Jordan, her daughter Jane Elizabeth and son-in-law Stanley J. Schramm Jr. of Indian River, grandsons, Tod Kenneth (Salena) Schramm of Cheboygan, Stanley John III (Victoria) Schramm of Fort Stewart, GA, Benjamin Louis (Becca) Schramm of Cheboygan, Samson Todd Crawford of East Jordan, great-grandsons, Stanley J. Schramm IV, Braxton Michael Jeremy Schramm.
Also surviving are siblings, Fred C. Hall (Elaine), Brenda S. Lockman (Kenny), Glenna E. Southwell (Don), sister-in-law Nathlie Buchin, many nieces and nephews and special friends Ed and Cindy Davis of Petoskey.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, April 12 at 12 noon at the Lighthouse Missionary Church, 7824 Rogers Rd., East Jordan, MI, 49727.
