Molly Nichols

Molly I. Nichols, 55, of Mancelona passed away December 17, 2013 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by her family. Molly was born June 24, 1958 in Kalkaska, the daughter of Paul and Mildred Thrasher. Molly enjoyed cooking, crafts, anything outdoors and especially loved fishing with her husband. She and Leonard attended and were active at Mancelona Free Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family. Most of all, her pride and joy were her grandchildren. On September 25, 1982 in Mancelona she married Leonard Nichols who survives. Also surviving are her step-children, Susan (Joe) Jackson of Tulsa, OK, Leonard (Connie) Nichols Jr of Vacaville, CA, Michael (Shirley) Nichols of Hudsonville, MI, and Christopher Nichols of Bessemer, MI; grandchildren, Brittany Lockman, Jesse (Missy), David, Caleb, Levi, Hannah, Bryan, Zachary, Kristen and Alexus Nichols; siblings, Jack (Renee) Thrasher, Rose (Dave) Bordeau, Regina (Dan) Szyska, Lena Thrasher, LeRoy (Mary) Thrasher and Paul Thrasher Jr; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Thrasher. A Celebration service of Mollys life will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Mancelona Free Methodist Church with Pastor Ross Corne officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mancelona Free Methodist Church or to Mancelona Church of the Nazarene.
