Michelle Morey

Michelle N. Morey, 35, of Petoskey, formerly of DeWitt, MI, passed away December 11, 2020.  Michelle was born August 4, 1985 in Southfield, MI to parents Michael Morey and Carrie Barton.

Michelle loved her two children intensely.  She was a spiritual woman who was happy, open, fun-loving, and someone that everyone wanted to be around.  Michelle enjoyed volleyball, country music, being on the water, flying free, and having a good time.  She worked at the Bear River Health Clinic in Boyne Falls.

Surviving Michelle are her two children, Sommer Sterrett and Isaiah Pinckney.  Also surviving her are parents Carrie (Tom) Fay and Michael (Stephanie) Morey, brother Matthew (Misael) Morey, step-sisters Samantha (Brad Smith) Gaskill, and Kate Stricker, nephew Lincoln and niece Kailynn, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Michelle was proceeded in death by her uncle, Jeff Barton.
