Michael Everett

Michael Lee Everett, 21, of Benzie, formerly of Mancelona; passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011. He was born on June 16, 1989 in Kalkaska to Daniel Beckner and Jennifer Everett. Michael graduated from Benzie High School in 2007. He loved baseball, playing on the computer, collecting eagles and just being his goofy self. He worked at McDonalds in Benzie for over 5 years. He is survived by his loving parents, Jennifer Everett and Daniel Beckner; four siblings, Matthew, Amanda, Daniel and Alicia Everett; two step-sisters, Serena and Sierra Beckner; one step-brother, Daniel Beckner; maternal grandparents, Bill and Judy Plunkett, all of Mancelona; fraternal grandparents Rozella Marshall of Apopka, FL., and Earl Beckner of Mancelona; one special nephew, Skyler Everett of Mancelona. Michael will be greatly missed. We love you Michael. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Mary Lynn Mason officiating. The family will receive friends and family Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. also at the funeral home, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Friday.
