Michael Coyne

Michael J. Coyne, age 55, of Charlevoix passed away on February 18, 2018.

Michael was born on July 15, 1962 in Detroit to Charles and Joan (Eby) Coyne.

He graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1981. Michael enjoyed music by singing and dancing. He was a very social man and a people person with a great sense of humor.

Michael is survived by his parents, Bud and Joan Coyne of Charlevoix, brother, Dennis Coyne of Charlevoix, niece, Shawna Coyne, great nephew, Callan Damon, lifelong friends, Sue Cooper of Petoskey and Cathy Ward of Charlevoix along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Wigton officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and rosary at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the Spring of 2018 at Norwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mary Catholic School.
