Merrilee Bailey

Merrilee Ann Bailey, age 72 of Charlevoix passed away on May 10, 2017 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

Merrilee was born on September 29, 1944 in Ludington, MI, the daughter of Arthur and Mildred (Bunke) Pirtle. She always had a smile on her face that showed her loving and caring nature that she will be remembered for. She was a breast cancer survivor who enjoyed antiques and animals especially dogs.

Merrilee is survived by her husband Kenneth Bailey of Charlevoix, children, Chris Samuelson of Charlevoix, Kelli Bailey of Georgia, Ken Bailey of Traverse City, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kerri Samuelson and brother David Pirtle.
