Mary Miles

Mary Miles, 87 of Fenton, formerly of Central Lake, died peacefully, Thurs. May 21, 2014. She was born Dec. 29, 1926 in Detroit, the daughter of Sava and Melinka (Vasalevich) Marinoff. Mary enjoyed quilting and cooking. She also enjoyed spending her time with her beloved family. On Sept. 10, 1949, she married Clayton "Dick" Miles who preceded her in death after 50 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death were her sons William Kenneth, David Steven, Paul James, and Dennis Clayton, grandsons Zachary Evan and Timothy Joseph, a brother and a sister. She is survived by her sons Milan Richard (Linda Susan), Thomas Robert (Claudia Suzanne), Kenneth William (Barbara Ruth), and Donald Howard (Dawn Renee), grandchildren Shawn Marie (Mark Alexander), Scott Michael, Brian Gavin (Laura Marie), Benjamin Seth (Stacey Shea), Emily Olivia (Noel Gene), David Thomas, Aaron Nathanial (Stephanie Anne), Melissa Danielle (Calvin Frank), Jillian Nicole, and Megan Lynn, great grandchildren Audrey Jolynn, Olivia Shea, Claire Elizabeth, Samuel Alexander, Seth Milan, Noelle Evangelina, Eva Sophia, Kathryn Renee, Donovan Gregory, Rhys Clayton, and Madison Marie. Funeral services will be held Sat. May 31, at 10 a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Janie Beasley officiating. Interment will follow in Southern Cemetery.
