Mary Ellen Hoffman

Mary Ellen Hoffman,  69, of Ellsworth, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on May 10, 2023.

   Mary is survived by her loving husband Paul Hoffman and her six children, Marrietta (Wayne) Heeres, Amy (Kipp) Drake, Ernest Higbee, Dale (Heidi) Higbee, Josh Hoffman, Anna (Moussa) Diakite and wonderful grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

   Mary and Paul married in 2005.   Together they enjoyed camping in the UP, time at the beach, mushrooming, and spending time with family and friends.

   A Celebration of Life was held on April 8, 2023.   The Hoffman/Higbee family would like to thank everyone for making the event so special.

   A visitation will take place on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Ellsworth Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

   Private burial will follow in the Ellsworth Cemetery.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

   Arrangements are in the care of the Ellsworth Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
