Mary Garza

Mary L. Garza,  67, of Charlevoix, passed away on October 2, 2017 at her home.

Mary was born on June 9, 1950, in Cross Village, MI, the daughter of Ty and Gladys (Paul) Sineway.

Mary was a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. She enjoyed traveling, gambling and especially doing “beadwork” for her family.

She is survived by a son Ronald Whiteloon of Charlevoix, a brother, Stanley Sineway of Mt. Pleasant, two grandchildren, Corrie Teeple and Caitlyn Whiteloon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Philo Garza, her parents and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.  at the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Rev. Sam McClellan officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of services also at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
