Martin Rubingh, age 87, of Ellsworth went to be with his Lord on October 11, 2020. “Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of His saints” Ps. 116:15.
Martin was a longtime member of the Farm Bureau and Gideons International. He was also a member of the Chain O Lakes Church. His desire for you is that each of you put your faith and trust in Christ.
Surviving is his wife Virginia, his children Janna (Paul) Brauning; Marvin (Jane) Rubingh; Joanne (Ron) Marcoux; Bryan (Sharon) Rubingh; grandchildren Jarris (Rebekah) Rubingh; Monica (JL) DeYoung, Vanessa (John) Le, Daren, Warren of IA, Lydia of Grand Rapids and Kendra of Ellsworth; Dana (Joe) Boyer of Germany, Seth and Kayla Brauning of Lincoln, NE; Megan of CA, Holly (Luke) Barnard of Grand Rapids, Joshua, Caleb, and Matthew of Central Lake, MI; Joel of Grand Rapids, Austin, Nathan, and Calvin of Lansing; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister in law Geraldine Rubingh. He was preceded in death by his brothers James (Gertrude), Julius, and Henry (Marian).
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 15 at 11 a.m. at the Ellsworth Christian Reformed Church. Interment will follow in Ellsworth Cemetery, Banks Township. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. also at the church.
