Markus Kewagshken

Markus Jacob Kewagshken of Charlevoix passed away on November 28, 2017 at his home.

Markus was born on March 17, 2017 in Petoskey, Michigan to Jeannine L. Kewagshken.

He was a big cuddle bug and was quick to flash you his big smile. He had a great personality, great hair and cute dimples. He enjoyed being rocked and sang to. He loved listening to his mom’s voice and his turtle music.

Markus is survived by his mom, Jeannine L. Kewagshken of Charlevoix; brother, Maurice Joseph Kewagshken; grandmother, Donita Jo Powless of Green Bay, WI; Auntie-Grandma, Anna (Uncle-Grandpa Gary) Smith of Charlevoix; Grandpa, Ron John of Charlevoix; Uncles, Jesse Allen Kewagshken, Cletus aka Turtle Kewagshken, James Kewagshken all of Charlevoix; aunts, Raven Roberts of Chicago, Linda Smith of Charlevoix, Kim Smith of Charlevoix and April Cross of Traverse City.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Kenneth Joseph Kewagshken, Grandma Betty Lou Kewagshken and Aunt Marlene Kewagshken.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Rev. Sam McClellen officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday also at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
