Marjorie (Marge) Stoianoff, 85, of Central Lake, passed away on August 29, 2014 at her home. Marge was born on June 6, 1929 in Clarenceville, MI, the daughter of Guy and Elvira (Blakeslee) Hancock. Marge grew up and graduated from Northville High School in 1947. She lived in Northville, Westland, Livonia and moved to Central Lake in 1978. She worked for Michigan Bell, Michigan Powder Metal, Gunsell Drugs, Leslie Drugs, and Central Foods for 29 years as a happy heartfelt clerk. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, Sunday school teacher and Brownie girl scout leader. She is survived by her loving family; husband Robert, of 66 years, daughters; Susan (Martin) Niswonger, Debby (partner Carrie Yambrick) Stoianoff, Denise (Kerry) Hendricks, Lisa (John) Harden, grandchildren Steven, Lauren, Wesley, Hannah, great-grandchildren; Caitlyn, Casey, Chase, brother John Hancock, beloved niece Aileen Halstead, special loved ones, Travis (Andrea) Troupe and Lily as well as Tricia (Mike) Mullins. She was preceded in death by beloved daughter Brenda, loving sister Phyllis Halstead, brother Tom Hancock, loving grandson Richard Viger, and parents Guy and Elvira Hancock. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Grace Community Church in Central Lake. Pastor Max Tracey will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the Make a Wish Foundation.
