MarJean Iser

MarJean Iser, 71, of Mancelona, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.  She was born on July 22, 1947 in Charlevoix, MI, the daughter of Grover and Nida (Graves) Geneit.

MarJean worked for many years at Honeywell Aerospace in Boyne City, MI.  She married the love of her life, Richard Iser, on June 22, 2012 in Bellaire, MI.  They have spent the past 7 years at their home in Lake of the Woods.  MarJean was an absolute sweetheart who was extremely well liked and will be dearly missed by many people.  She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed camping, spending time with her dog, Sugar, and wouldn’t miss an episode of Dancing With The Stars.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Iser; two sons, Jeff(Lisa) Holm, and Brian(Violet) Holm; her mother in law, Mary Ann Iser; four grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; and many, many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and her other beloved dog, Mandy.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
