Marion Horner

Marion L. Horner, 77, of Central Lake, died peacefully, Mon. Nov. 28, 2011 at Munson Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Detroit, the daughter of William and Laura (Ellerholtz) Kugler.

On Sept. 4, 1954, in Taylor, she married Leo Horner. They moved north to Central Lake in 1988. Marion enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and the outdoors. She loved her cats, dogs, and just about any animal.

Marion is survived by her granddaughter Melissa (Bruce) Sattler, son Larry Horner, son Gary (Nancy) Horner, daughter Marilyn (Ed) Miller, granddaughter Richelle (Llyod) Bellmore, grandson Nicolas Horner, great-granddaughter Raven Bellmore, sister Laura Amato, sister Marlene (Alfred) Graziana, brother in law Joseph Kermos, many nieces and nephews and close family friend Adam Challis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Bryan Lee Horner, brother William A. Krugler Jr., sister Elsie Kormos.

Funeral services will be held Sat. Dec. 3, 2011 at Two p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating. Interment will follow at Southern Cemetery, Central Lake. The family will receive friends Fri. Dec. 2, from 2 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
