Marion Allison

Marion G. Allison, 83 of Bellaire died peacefully, Mar. 3, 2016 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility with her husband and children at her side. She was born Mar. 2, 1933 in Rochester, the daughter of Elden and Elizabeth (Haggadone) Coulter. Marion lived a long, happy life filled with family and loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling around the United States with her husband in their motorhome. She also enjoyed knitting and reading books by Danielle Steele. In 1952 Marion married the love of her life, Harvey Allison. After 30+ years of living and working in Lake Orion, they moved north, retiring in Bellaire. Surviving Marion is husband of 63 years Harvey, her children Steve (Roberta), Roger (Laurie), Mike (Kris), Harvey (Trish), Debbie (Dan) Choike, brother Dale Coulter, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Paul (1993) and her sisters. A private family burial will take place in Square Lake Cemetery, Lake Orion, MI, in the spring.
