Marilyn J. White, 88, of Bellaire, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.
She was born on September 19, 1936, in Bellaire, the daughter of Floyd and Lucile (Olds) Gregory.
Marilyn was an amazing woman and a lifelong resident of Bellaire where she worked as a teachers aid for 24 years and was known as “Mom White” to many students. She was a die hard Bellaire Eagles sports fan, volunteered at Meadow Brook, Bellaire Chamber of Commerce, Rubber Ducky events, Bellaire Historical Society, and enjoyed walking, reading, taking boat rides with her family and puzzles.
Surviving are 3 children, Craig White of Bellaire, Jackie White (Doug McGuire) of Central Lake, Greg (Cindy) White of Bellaire, 4 grandchildren, Steve (Tammi) White of Bellaire, Mike (Nicole) White of Central Lake, Ryan (Casie) White of Bellaire, Taylor (Nick) Kanaziz of Bellaire, 6 great-grandchildren, Connor, Tyler, Brandon, Landon, Olivia, and Ryker.
Also surviving are a brother LeRoy Gregory (Sharon Nicholas) of Bellaire, Donna (Fred) Galster of Bellaire, Retha Smith (Denny Watrous) of Bellaire, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack White, 4 sisters, Emogean Conley, Phyllis Turner, Rhea Wilkie, Gwen St. Cyr, a brother Arden Gregory, daughter in law Kendra Ryan as well as her parents.
A graveside service will take place at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire.
